Petal’s main area of interest in photography is the female nude. This is her third exhibition. “I am interested in having women feel good about their bodies so I choose all sorts of models for my work and not simply the young or the conventionally beautiful”.
Petal’s earlier work focused purely on the female form. More recently she began to realize the similarities of landscape and the female form. “I appreciate the sensual qualities of the landscape…….” Petal’s marrying of this appreciation with her interest in nude photography bought about this series of nude landscapes.
